"Falling but it feels like I'm floating".
Inspired by Soulquarian-era artists such as D'Angelo and Erykah Badu, Moment is Evita Koné's sweet, soulful ode to what it feels like falling in love with your eyes open. Beneath the surface-level infatuation, this song carries a message about recognizing flaws in ourselves and our partners and embracing them nonetheless. Christophe Calpini's grooving, downtempo, bass-heavy beat, offset by Zacharie Ksyk's tender and romantic trumpet solo culminate in a meditative, mantra-like outro about cherishing the present moment.


Break is Evita Koné's highly anticipated first solo EP. The project is an exploration of what it means to break old habits and observe oneself in a new light. Working with Christophe Calpini and finding a common sound was part of the process of duality and harmony, tied together by their mutual friend Zacharie Ksyk on the trumpet.

Playing with the duality of darkness and light (daybreak), Break leaves the listener with a bittersweet yet ultimately empowering feeling of self-acceptance.
