"Drums" is the second single from Evita Koné's solo project. Biting rap verses and a haunting melodic chorus over driving percussion and strings, the track is a response to a dying patriarchal and oppressive society.


Break is Evita Koné's highly anticipated first solo EP. The project is an exploration of what it means to break old habits and observe oneself in a new light. Working with Christophe Calpini and finding a common sound was part of the process of duality and harmony, tied together by their mutual friend Zacharie Ksyk on the trumpet.

Playing with the duality of darkness and light (daybreak), Break leaves the listener with a bittersweet yet ultimately empowering feeling of self-acceptance.
